Seminar

Forum theatre is an interactive theatre form, which has increasingly gained popularity across the world and has been effectively used in thematising and working with conflict. The guiding principle of forum theatre is that through the medium of theatre, people become active protagonists in their own lives. A problem posed on stage is explored and creatively resolved by integrating the audience into the forum, in which spectators are transformed into spect-actors.

The seminar aims to bring together political, social and cultural activists as well as representatives of developmental organisations, who are interested in using this creative method in their work as well as to share experiences and jointly reflect on this method of initiating political dialogue.
